Every business you start will eventually have an end. But health — that’s a lifelong startup. You don’t do it for investors, partners, or press. You do it for youself.

Looking back on my journey from engineer to serial founder, I’ve been through countless pitch decks, tech pivots, funding rounds, and even moments where products rose from the dead. Each startup was a full-throttle sprint. Every venture had a clear launch — and, one way or another, a finish line. If it took off, I rode the wave. If it didn’t, I accepted the outcome and got ready for the next game.

But there’s one “startup” that doesn’t raise money, doesn’t get a valuation, and never IPOs — and it’s the hardest one to stay committed to: staying healthy.

Unlike a company’s growth stages, staying fit has no viral moment, no Series A adrenaline rush. It’s a slow compounding journey — a long-term investment in your body, your mind, and your discipline.

All businesses eventually wrap up. Your body is the only real equity you own. Every skipped workout, every all-nighter, every binge meal — that’s you burning through your life capital. Health/Fitness teaches founders self-discipline. And self-discipline is the foundation of any great entrepreneur. If you can train every morning, chances are you can also deliver on your hardest deadlines. If you can sculpt a fit body in three months, you can definitely build a product people love in three years.
